The long-running anime series Code Geass will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2026 with a series of commemorative events under the banner “Road to CODE GEASS 20th Year.” The first phase, titled “Code Geass Project ‘To 20th’ Event,” will be held on December 7 at Shinjuku Grand. The event will feature a talk show with special guests, a live reading performance, and exclusive announcements.

As part of the second phase, a “Code Geass 20th Anniversary Revival Screening” will begin nationwide on January 6, 2026, showcasing 13 titles from the franchise’s history. The lineup includes the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion film trilogy, the five-part Akito the Exiled series, Lelouch of the Resurrection, and the four-part Rozé of the Recapture. The screenings will take place every other Tuesday and Thursday through June 2026.

A new key visual for the revival screenings, along with ticket details and attendee gifts, has been released. Each film will come with one of 13 illustrated square cards, distributed as special entry bonuses. In addition, a limited-edition 13-card set of MoviTickets featuring the new illustration will be sold, including a special Acrylic Ticket Holder Panel available exclusively through Animate.

The event on December 7 will feature Lelouch voice actor Jun Fukuyama, along with Kohei Amasaki (Rozé of the Recapture, as Rozé) and Makoto Furukawa (as Ash). Traditionally, a December 5 screening is held annually to mark Lelouch’s birthday, but this year’s event will serve as a special celebration leading into the 20th anniversary year.

A sequel to the 2023 stage musical Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion – Knights of Justice has also been announced. Returning cast members Ryotaro Akazawa as Suzaku Kururugi and Koji Kominami as Lelouch Lamperouge will reprise their roles when the new production opens in January 2026.
