The anime Minami-ke will hold a special event to celebrate the production of its new fifth season on November 1 at Theater Mixa. The event will feature Rina Satou (voice of Haruka Minami), Marina Inoue (voice of Kana Minami), Minori Chihara (voice of Chiaki Minami), Ryoko Ono (voice of Atsuko), and Reiko Takagi (voice of Maki). Marina Inoue will appear only in the evening session.

Minami-ke follows the everyday life of the three Minami sisters ( the mischievous middle sister Kana, the sharp-tongued youngest Chiaki, and the responsible eldest Haruka ) depicted in a light and humorous tone. The original manga has been serialized in Weekly Young Magazine since 2004, with four TV anime seasons airing in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2013.

The new TV anime marks the first Minami-ke series in 11 years since the fourth season aired in 2013. The upcoming event will feature a Q&A session with the anime staff and a live performance by the three sisters.
