The Cast’s Favorite Fluffy Things

ーーBond, the Forger family’s large dog, is loved for his fluffy appearance. What kind of fluffy things do you like?

Hayami:
We’re starting with a fluffy question already!

Tanezaki:
For me, it’s definitely my beloved cat, “Serebu.”

Hayami:
Serebu’s fur is so beautiful.

Tanezaki:
It is, but her tummy’s the fluffiest part. I love her so much.

Matsuda:
I have two cats at home, and I just can’t stop petting them. Though honestly, they don’t seem to like it much. One of them runs off when I flip them over, while the other’s like, “Whatever, do what you want.”

Hayami:
I love my futon. The moment I crawl in, it’s healing, and that soft fluffy feeling is so comforting. Being wrapped up like that makes me happy.

Eguchi:
For me, it’s the foam on freshly poured draft beer.

Matsuda:
Now that you mention it, it is kind of fluffy.

Hayami:
That’s such an Eguchi-like answer.

Eguchi:
When I encounter fine, smooth foam, it’s a moving experience, like drinking a cloud. Not that I’ve ever actually drunk a cloud, though. But yes, I love that fluffy
feeling.

Sports Memories from the Cast

――Yor is athletic and talented at sports, and her tennis match against Fiona was a big hit among fans. Do any of you have sports you’re good at or memorable experiences with sports?

Yor

Eguchi:
Everyone, let’s talk sports! Do you all stay active or not so much?

Hayami:
By the way, did you do any sports back in school?
Eguchi, Tanezaki & Matsuda: (laughing)

Matsuda:
I was in the soft tennis club for a while, and I also joined the martial arts club.

Hayami:
That’s so cool.

Matsuda:
Well, I didn’t take martial arts very seriously, so I didn’t really get good at it. I enjoy physical activity and love watching martial arts, but I realized I’m more of a spectator type.

Eguchi:
Watching sports definitely counts as being a fan of sports too.

Tanezaki:
It’s rare to have a question that makes everyone go quiet like this! I actually liked long-distance running. I enjoyed keeping my own pace and running steadily.

Eguchi:
I totally get that. I love long-distance running too. It’s more like competing with yourself than others. Even if others sprint ahead, it doesn’t matter. You just keep your rhythm, thinking, “I’ll pass them eventually.”

Hayami:
I love watching tennis. I took tennis lessons for a short while as a kid, then quit. Same for swimming. I even took gymnastics, apparently, though I don’t remember that part.

Eguchi:
You don’t even remember?

Hayami:
Yeah, I’d start something, not dislike it, but somehow drift away from it before I noticed.

Favorite Anya Faces and Characters They’d Like to Disguise As

――Loid is a master spy who can perfectly disguise himself with his observation skills and memory. If you could disguise yourself as someone from the SPY×FAMILY world, who would it be?

Loid

Hayami:
That’s a tough one, but maybe Becky. I’d love to experience her lifestyle, go shopping, try on all the cute clothes, and have fun with that. And disguising myself as her could lead to even more disguises.

Matsuda:
If I can go beyond gender or species, I’d say Sylvia. She’s so cool.

Tanezaki:
I’d go with Loid, since I could never be like him. Loid and Eguchi-san are about the same height, so I’m curious what the world looks like from up there.

Eguchi:
(laughs) What do I see from up here, huh? I’ve developed a good sense of spatial awareness, though. If I zone out, I bump my head on things.

Hayami:
That’s a world we’ve never experienced.

Eguchi:
I’d like to be Anya. I want to be that cheerful and carefree again, disguise my heart as well as my face.

Hayami:
But Anya can read minds.

Eguchi:
Oh no, I wouldn’t want that. Sounds stressful. But her pure-hearted curiosity is something I admire.
Speaking of Anya, she’s known for her expressive face: her mischievous grin, her excited look, and more. Which of her many faces is your favorite?

Hayami:
They’re all adorable, but her classic smug smile, the “Heh” face, is perfection.

Tanezaki:
I love her mischievous face too. But my favorite might be the one Loid imagines in his head, the “Anya can do it” face.

Hayami:
I love her blank expression when she’s stunned by Fiona’s inner thoughts. Anya’s usually so expressive that seeing her emotionless face feels extra cute.

Eguchi:
I love her serious face when she punches Damian. I remember laughing at the way it was drawn.

Matsuda:
And Damian’s face gets all distorted in response, which is great.

Tanezaki:
I wonder why she had that blank face then.

Matsuda:
Maybe she was so mad she went expressionless.

Hayami:
Yeah, that makes sense.

Matsuda:
She probably smiled, then snapped, and boom! Flames of rage.

Eguchi:
Total single-minded focus.

Highlights to Watch in Season 3

ーーFinally, please tell us what to look forward to about your characters in Season 3.

Loid Childhood

Matsuda:
Please pay attention to Bond, who’s always by Anya’s side, reacting with her to everything that happens. He’s still as fluffy as ever.

Tanezaki:
There are so many highlights this season, but I’d say watch for what happens when Anya’s at Eden Academy with her friends. Some pretty unusual things occur, and Anya reacts in ways only she could. Don’t miss it.

Eguchi:
I get to voice Loid’s younger self this time as well, so I hope viewers pay attention to his past.

Hayami:
For Yor, she’ll have new encounters from a completely different perspective. These developments will likely become a key turning point in the story, so please look forward to it.
