The story and preview images for Episode 1 of the TV anime Inexpressive Kashiwada and Expressive Oota (JP: 顔に出ない柏田さんと顔に出る太田君) have been revealed. This episode will air on Saturday, October 4 at 9:00 PM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 1 Story

Oota-kun is fascinated by Kashiwada-san, whose facial expressions are completely unreadable. He struggles to find a way to surprise her but fails every time. Just as Oota-kun grows frustrated, Kashiwada-san blurts out an unexpected remark.

Later, their class is assigned to clean the school pool. Kashiwada-san, who usually does not talk much, seems unable to blend in with the other girls. Seeing this, Oota-kun deliberately decides to tease her.

Introduction

A junior high school girl, Kashiwada, never shows her feelings on her face no matter what happens. Her classmate, Ota, on the other hand, shows every emotion all too clearly.
