Precure to Celebrate 1000th Episode Next Week: Special Dance Performances by Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku, ≠ME, and BEYOOOOONDS
It was announced on the 27th that the popular TV anime series "Precure" will celebrate its 1000th episode on June 2nd. The series has been aired for 20 years in the Sunday 8:30 am slot on ABC TV and TV Asahi, starting from its first installment, "Futari wa Precure," which aired on February 1, 2004.
The "Precure" series is a transforming heroine action anime where ordinary girls transform into legendary warriors called Precure to fight powerful enemies. Starting with "Futari wa Precure" in 2004, the series has continued for 20 years, and the current 21st installment, "Wondrous Precure!" is now airing.
To commemorate the 1000th episode, various collaboration projects will be carried out, including a special dance collaboration with Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku, ≠ME, and BEYOOOOONDS. These three groups, who grew up watching Precure, each have special memories associated with the series. This collaboration will see these idols, who are part of the Precure generation, perform special dance routines.
Dance is a crucial element of enjoying the "Precure" series. Over the years, various dances have been created and loved by many children. This collaboration will feature six dance routines, including the ending themes from five memorable series and the opening theme of the currently airing "Wondrous Precure!" The songs include "Getchu! Love Love?!", the ending theme of "Futari wa Precure," among other beloved tracks, brought to life with the idols' powerful and cute dance performances.
The dance collaboration videos will be released consecutively for six days starting from May 27 on the official Precure YouTube channel and TVer.
