Kirby Air Riders Announced for November 20 Release: First New Racing Game in 22 Years Since Kirby Air Ride

Kirby Air Riders, a completely new racing game exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2, will be released on November 20. This marks the first new installment in 22 years since the launch of Kirby Air Ride for the Nintendo GameCube in 2003.

The upcoming Kirby Air Riders is the long-awaited sequel to the 2003 classic, offering a simple yet exhilarating racing experience. Players can enjoy unpredictable and exciting races as Kirby rides unique and colorful machines.

The gameplay remains easy to pick up, focusing mainly on moving the control stick left and right. Pressing a button activates braking while simultaneously charging. By holding the button and steering through corners, players can drift and gain an advantage in races.

Since machines move forward automatically, players don’t need to hold the stick forward or constantly press buttons, making it a highly accessible racing title. Two button functions are available: one for braking and one for special abilities.
