First published in December 1974, Monthly Princess (Akita Shoten) has now surpassed its 50th anniversary. To commemorate this milestone, a Monthly Princess 50th Anniversary Pop-Up Shop will be held at Manga-Ten venues in both Tokyo and Osaka. The shop will feature a wide collection of classic works as well as exclusive 50th anniversary merchandise.

In addition, special autograph sessions by renowned creators are scheduled. On September 7 at the Tokyo venue, Aya Kanno (Requiem of the Rose King) and Rika Suzuki (Tableau Gate) will appear. On October 4 at the Osaka venue, ikra (Touken Ranbu: Outdoor Strange Tale – Touken Camp) and Waka Takase (Matsurika Kanriden) will hold signings.

To participate in these signings, attendees must first enter a lottery. Only winners will be able to place a web order in advance for the required item—a B4-size replica manuscript—through the Manga-Ten Store using a link sent via the winning email. At the autograph session, the purchased manuscript will be signed and personalized with the attendee’s name.

The pop-up shop will run from September 5–28 at MAGNET by SHIBUYA109, 5th floor, Tokyo, and from October 3–26 at Tennoji Mio Main Building, 6th floor, Osaka. Admission is free.
