The TV anime This Monster Wants to Eat Me is set to begin airing on October 2. Alongside the announcement, the main visual and main promotional video (PV) have been released.

In the newly revealed PV, the story begins to unfold with the mysterious appearance of Shiori Oumi, who whispers, “Don’t you think humans have a season when they’re just right to eat?” The footage also features Miko Yashiro, who always watches over Hinako Yaotose, as well as a young Hinako in tears saying, “Don’t leave me,” hinting at an unshakable past she carries. The PV delicately portrays the complex emotions of Shiori and Miko toward Hinako.

The animation production is handled by Studio Rings, which, after working on numerous episodes of various TV series including Yuri Is My Job!, is taking on its first role as the lead studio for a full series with this project.
