The story and preview stills for Episode 6 of the anime Call of the Night (JP: よふかしのうた, Yofukashi no Uta) have been released. This episode will air on Friday, August 9 at 11:30 PM (JST).

Episode 6 Story

To delve into Midori Kohakobe’s past, Nazuna Nanakusa and the others visit the home of her familiar, Love-kun—also known as LG. An over-the-top otaku, Love-kun adores Midori and proudly claims to have researched everything about her human life, collecting every personal item he could find. However, when it comes to one particular item that may reveal his own weakness, he adamantly refuses to share, shouting, “I absolutely won’t tell you!!”

About Call of the Night

Originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday since August 2019, Call of the Night follows Kou Yamori, a restless middle schooler who dislikes social interactions—especially with girls. One night, he meets the mysterious vampire beauty Nazuna Nanakusa and embarks on a special kind of nightlife adventure.

The anime adaptation debuted in 2022, and the original manga concluded in January 2024.
