Black Clover is officially returning with a highly anticipated second season. A brand-new visual and promotional video (PV) have been released to mark the announcement. As with the previous TV series and the feature film, animation production will once again be handled by Studio Pierrot.

Set in a world where magic is everything, Black Clover follows the journey of Asta, a boy born without magic, and his rival Yuno as they strive to become the Wizard King—the pinnacle of all magic knights. The original manga by Yūki Tabata began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2015 and is now ongoing in Jump GIGA. The series has sold over 19 million copies in total, solidifying its place as a global hit.

The anime originally aired from 2017 to 2021 and went on to achieve the No.1 viewership ranking across 87 countries and regions worldwide. In 2023, Black Clover expanded into film and stage adaptations.

To commemorate the new season’s announcement, two versions of a "Kick-Off Visual"—Japanese and Global—were released alongside the "Kick-Off PV," which features a countdown-style montage blending iconic scenes and famous lines from the anime since its 2017 debut. The video ends with a symbolic display of the Kick-Off Visual.
In celebration, all 171 episodes of the original TV anime series (2017–2021) will be made available for streaming on TVer starting July 22 at 6:00 p.m. JST.
