On July 3, the official synopsis and preview images for the special episode “Hoshina’s Day Off” from the anime Kaiju No. 8 were revealed. Originally shown alongside the Season 1 recap film, which was released in theaters across over 30 countries earlier this year, this bonus episode received significant attention from fans. It is now set to air on Japanese TV (TV Tokyo and affiliates) and stream globally in real-time on X (formerly Twitter) at 11:00 PM JST on July 5.
