The highly anticipated new TV anime series in the popular Digimon franchise, DIGIMON BEATBREAK, is set to premiere in October 2025. Character visuals have been revealed alongside the names of the new protagonist and partner Digimon: Tomoro Tenma, a 15-year-old first-year high school student, and Gekkomon, a Reptile-type Digimon of the Data attribute in its Rookie stage.

This marks the 10th television anime installment in the Digimon franchise and the first new series since Digimon Ghost Game aired from 2021 to 2023. Further details about the story are expected to be announced in the coming months.

Fans will also get a sneak peek of the series during a world premiere screening of Episode 1 at DIGIMON EXPO 25, to be held on September 20–21 at Prism Hall in Tokyo Dome City.

The Digimon franchise began in 1997 as a virtual pet game and quickly evolved into a multimedia phenomenon with the debut of the Digimon Adventure anime in 1999. Featuring digital monsters that continue to evolve within the Digital World, the series has introduced over 1,000 Digimon to date. With its enduring themes of friendship and personal growth, the franchise has remained a favorite across generations.
