The DIGIMON CON event, streamed on March 20 via Digimon’s official YouTube channel, officially announced the production of DIGIMON BEATBREAK, a completely new television anime. This marks the 10th TV series in the Digimon franchise and the first new anime in two years since Digimon Ghost Game (2021–2023).

A teaser video was also revealed, showcasing mysterious glowing silhouettes of Digimon and hinting at the series’ dark and intriguing world. The video teases the existence of "emotion-consuming lifeforms (Digimon)," suggesting a fresh narrative direction for the franchise.

The teaser visual prominently features the protagonist alongside their partner Digimon, with an atmospheric purple hue emphasizing the show's mysterious tone. While specific plot details remain under wraps, the tagline "Emotion-Consuming Lifeforms" hints at the series’ thematic core, setting the stage for an exciting new chapter in the Digimon saga.

The Digimon franchise began as a virtual pet device in 1997 before expanding into an anime series in 1999 with Digimon Adventure. Over the years, the series has introduced over 1,000 Digimon and produced nine TV series and 11 feature films, captivating fans worldwide with its themes of friendship and growth.

This year’s DIGIMON CON, the fourth installment of the event, brought together fans of the franchise’s various media, including video games, anime, and trading card games, with multiple new announcements.
