A striking rice paddy art featuring Tanjiro Kamado, the protagonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, has been revealed ahead of the July 18 release of Infinity Castle Arc – The Movie. The official X (formerly Twitter) accounts for both the anime and the Gyoda Omotenashi Tourism Bureau shared the update, highlighting the 2.8-hectare field’s progress and calling on fans to witness the creation in person.

Where to See It: Gyoda City, Saitama Prefecture

Located in Gyoda City, Saitama—an area well-known for its annual rice paddy artworks—the Tanjiro design is expected to become even more vibrant and defined as the rice plants grow taller in July and August.

The Gyoda Tourism Bureau commented:

Based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba originally ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020, selling over 150 million copies. The story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a boy who joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his demon-turned sister Nezuko back into a human after their family is slaughtered by demons.

The anime adaptation began in April 2019 with Tanjiro Kamado: Unwavering Resolve Arc. This was followed by:

The Mugen Train Arc (film, 2020),

Entertainment District Arc (TV, 2021–2022),

Swordsmith Village Arc (2023), and

Hashira Training Arc (May–June 2024).

The upcoming Infinity Castle Arc movie trilogy will pick up directly after the final episode of the Hashira Training Arc, continuing the epic journey of Tanjiro and his comrades as they confront the ultimate enemy in a climactic showdown.
