The true identities of the mysterious new duo, Cure Zukyun and Cure Kiss, were revealed to be Purirun and Meroron—but the final scenes left fans in shock.

In Episode 17, the duo made a dazzling entrance to save the Idol Pretty Cures from danger, sparking major buzz online. In this week’s Episode 19, it was revealed how Purirun and Meroron became Pretty Cures. However, it came at a price—Purirun no longer seems to remember Uta.

Episode 19 Story

Cure Idol (voiced by Misato Matsuoka) chases after Cure Zukyun and Cure Kiss as they vanish. Cure Wink (voiced by Minami Takahashi) and Cure Kyun-Kyun (voiced by Natsumi Takamori) follow her lead, but the three quickly lose sight of them.

Some time later, a reporter named Tsumugu Kijima arrives in town, representing the magazine Entame Bunbun. She's hot on the trail of the true identities of Cure Zukyun and Cure Kiss. After meeting Tsumugu, Uta and her friends decide to help with the search.

During their investigation, the group temporarily separates from Tsumugu and begins wondering, “What if Cure Zukyun and Cure Kiss are transformed humans, just like us?” Inspired by this thought, Uta sketches someone who she imagines could be Cure Zukyun—but the drawing is so unique, no one matches the description. About You and Idol Pretty Cure

The theme of You and Idol Pretty Cure revolves around idols. With the belief that "Because you're here, I can shine and become stronger!", the Pretty Cure idols sing, dance, and engage with fans, using their performances to restore Kirakira to those who have lost it.

The story follows Uta Sakura, a second-year middle school student who loves to sing. One day, she meets Purirun, a fairy searching for the Idol Pretty Cure, the legendary savior of Kirakiland. Kirakiland has been plunged into darkness by Darkine, the leader of the Chokkiri Gang.

As the Chokkiri Gang begins stealing the Kirakira from townspeople, a desperate Uta declares, "I want to bring back the Kirakkiranran feeling! With my song!" Her determination resonates, and she transforms into the legendary Cure Idol.
