The upcoming stage adaptation of JUJUTSU KAISEN—titled JUJUTSU KAISEN: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death—was officially announced on May 19 in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha). Ryosuke Miura and Rei Fujita will reprise their roles as Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto, respectively, from the previous stage adaptation.

This marks the fourth installment of the JUJUTSU KAISEN stage play series and focuses on the pivotal storyline from Gojo and Geto’s high school years, known as the “Hidden Inventory / Premature Death” arc. The teaser visual features the backs of Miura and Fujita, continuing their portrayals of the beloved characters. The play will be performed in Tokyo this August and in Osaka in September.

The original manga JUJUTSU KAISEN by Gege Akutami follows the battle between Jujutsu Sorcerers and curses born from negative human emotions. It began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2018 and concluded in September 2024, wrapping up a six-and-a-half-year run. The manga series has surpassed a staggering 100 million copies in circulation, including digital editions.

The anime adaptation aired its first season from October 2020 to March 2021, followed by the feature film JUJUTSU KAISEN 0, which grossed 26.5 billion yen worldwide. The anime’s second season—Hidden Inventory / Shibuya Incident—aired from July to December 2023, gaining widespread acclaim both in Japan and internationally.

In addition to the upcoming JUJUTSU KAISEN: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death theatrical compilation film releasing nationwide on May 30, a sequel anime arc titled Culling Game has also been confirmed, keeping fans highly anticipating what’s next for the franchise.
