Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Super Sentai series. It began with "Himitsu Sentai Gorenger" in 1975 and follows the premise of five color-coded heroes in masks and suits forming a team to battle evil. Starting with the third series, giant robots became a staple, and the franchise has incorporated various motifs such as animals, vehicles, dinosaurs, and ninjas, winning over audiences from children to adults. The “All Super Sentai Big Poll” allowed fans to vote across three categories—Series (49 titles), Heroes (over 300 characters), and Robots (over 160 machines)—and drew approximately 600,000 votes.
The winner of the Series category was Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger (2011). To commemorate the moment, Tomokazu Sugita, who provided narration for the series, performed a live reading on the broadcast to celebrate the victory.
