This project commemorates the 10th anniversary of "Shonen Jump+," which opened a dedicated portal site called "One-Shot Discovery" in October of last year. The site features over 2,000 one-shots released on the platform over the past decade. It also includes celebrity interviews, curated recommendations, year-by-year rankings, and a full archive of all one-shot titles, offering manga fans multiple ways to discover hidden gems.

The focus on one-shots comes with good reason. "Shonen Jump+" has consistently promoted the format, resulting in critically acclaimed works like Look Back by Tatsuki Fujimoto, which was adapted into a feature film. The platform aims to support manga creators, serving both as a launching pad for newcomers aiming for serialization and as a creative playground for established artists.

Thanks to this editorial approach, the app now releases over 200 one-shots annually—each filled with passion and creative ambition. The abundance and quality of these works have become a defining feature of "Shonen Jump+," gaining recognition from both creators and readers alike.

Regarding the new project, a representative explained, “We've published over 2,000 one-shot manga on 'Shonen Jump+'. Why so many? One reason is our desire to discover new talent. Many aspiring manga artists have poured their pure passion into one-shots. These works have won the support of readers and led to countless creative breakthroughs. Now, the brilliance of these works will be further refined by some of the anime industry's top studios. With this incredible lineup, the resulting anime are sure to be compelling! We’ll be sharing more information soon—please look forward to it.”
