Episode 15 of You and Idol Pretty Cure (キミとアイドルプリキュア♪), the 22nd installment in the Pretty Cure anime series, has released its story preview and early scene stills. Episode 15 will air on Sunday, May 18, at 8:30 AM on Japanese TV, followed by international streaming on various platforms.

Episode 15 Story

In this episode, Meroron becomes jealous of the close bond between Uta Sakura (voiced by Misato Matsuoka) and Purirun. To win over Purirun’s heart, Meroron boldly invites them out on a date. The two head to the café Glitter for a charming date, but the mood is constantly interrupted—Uta brings over a cream soda, and Nana Aokaze and Kokoro Shigure peek in, preventing the two from enjoying time alone. Disheartened, Meroron starts to sulk.

Curious about why Meroron is so intent on staying close to Purirun, Uta and the others consult Queen Pikariine. By interpreting the curious poems Meroron often murmurs, they start to understand Meroron’s feelings and decide to support the date.

Encouraged by her friends, Purirun invites Meroron to go on a date in matching outfits. When Meroron hears there’s a romantic spot near the Heart Tree, they eagerly set out together.

About You and Idol Pretty Cure

The theme of You and Idol Pretty Cure revolves around idols. With the belief that "Because you're here, I can shine and become stronger!", the Pretty Cure idols sing, dance, and engage with fans, using their performances to restore Kirakira to those who have lost it.

The story follows Uta Sakura, a second-year middle school student who loves to sing. One day, she meets Purirun, a fairy searching for the Idol Pretty Cure, the legendary savior of Kirakiland. Kirakiland has been plunged into darkness by Darkine, the leader of the Chokkiri Gang.

As the Chokkiri Gang begins stealing the Kirakira from townspeople, a desperate Uta declares, "I want to bring back the Kirakkiranran feeling! With my song!" Her determination resonates, and she transforms into the legendary Cure Idol.
