Starting July 1, 2025, Universal Studios Japan will launch three major attractions in collaboration with the popular anime SPY×FAMILY, marking the franchise’s first-ever theme park rides. This special collaboration includes a groundbreaking VR coaster, an immersive story ride, and a park-wide quiz rally, all available until January 4, 2026.

The collaboration is part of Universal Cool Japan 2025, a year-long celebration commemorating the 10th anniversary of Universal Cool Japan. Fans can enjoy the following experiences:

SPY×FAMILY XR Ride – Operation Hyperdrive

In this next-generation XR ride, guests become rookie agents of WISE and embark on a thrilling spy mission with the Forger family. The mission involves infiltrating Eden Academy to retrieve classified documents with Twilight, while Anya’s surprise appearance throws the mission into chaos. Riders board the “USJ-go,” created by Franky, and must work with the Forgers to complete the mission and protect the secret data.

SPY×FAMILY Story Ride – An Exciting Field Trip on a Mine Cart Adventure

This story-driven ride lets fans dive into the world of SPY×FAMILY and join Anya, Becky, Damian, and other Eden Academy classmates for a high-speed mine cart adventure. The thrilling course includes sharp curves and intense ups and downs, culminating in a plunge into a pitch-dark cave for an unforgettable climax.

SPY×FAMILY Waku Waku! USJ Park Rally – Family Quiz Adventure

Accessible via the park’s official LINE account, this quiz rally is designed for families to enjoy together. As participants solve quizzes scattered throughout the park, they can unlock exclusive voice recordings of the Forgers enjoying a day off at the amusement park. Those who complete all the challenges will receive a limited-edition sticker featuring the “Stella” star design and can fully experience the park with Loid, Anya, Yor, and Bond.

Commemorative Photo Opportunity

A special SPY×FAMILY XR Ride Photo Opportunity will also be available. Guests can take commemorative photos with the Forgers and Eden Academy characters using an original photo frame—perfect for display at home.
