Mamiko Selects 'JoJo's Bizarre Adventure' Song for Shohei Ohtani's Walk-Up Music Again, Stirring Excitement on Social Media
Shohei Ohtani’s walk-up music at Dodger Stadium has once again become a hot topic on social media. As part of the Dodgers’ "Date Night" event on April 26, players' walk-up songs were chosen by their significant others, and Mamiko’s selection for Ohtani has drawn widespread attention.

The Dodgers announced on their official X account, "It's Dodgers Date Night at Dodger Stadium and tonight's player walk-up music has been chosen by their significant others!" For Ohtani, Mamiko selected "Roundabout" by Yes, famously used as the ending theme for the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime.
Mamiko had previously chosen "il vento d'oro," a track featured in the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series, during the same event in July last year. The song is known for playing during the protagonist’s victories, earning nicknames such as "victory anthem" and "execution song." That day, Ohtani delivered an impressive performance with two hits and three RBIs.
Social media was abuzz with reactions to Mamiko's stylish selection:
"Mamiko choosing another JoJo song is amazing!"
"Today’s walk-up song is from JoJo again — my respect for Mamiko just went up."
"She’s chosen JoJo again this year, lol."
"Mamiko must really love JoJo!"
"If she loves JoJo this much, there must be a photo of her doing a JoJo pose somewhere!"
"Mamiko is definitely a big JoJo fan."
Ohtani himself appears to be a fan of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series. When the anime adaptation of Part 7, Steel Ball Run, was announced in mid-April, he shared the official visual on his Instagram Stories, further fueling excitement among fans.
