Strawberry Prince, the popular 2.5D idol group, is taking its first animated movie “Strawberry Prince the Movie: The Beginning of Our Story – Strawberry School Festival!!! (JP: 劇場版すとぷり はじまりの物語)” to the global stage. Following its domestic release in July 2024, the film has drawn widespread attention and is now confirmed for theatrical and streaming releases abroad.

n June, the film will premiere in theaters across Asia, specifically at LUX Cinema in Taipei, Taiwan, and SF Cinema MBK Center in Bangkok, Thailand. Internationally, the film will also be made available for streaming via Crunchyroll, one of the world’s largest anime streaming platforms. Launching later this summer, the release will target North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia.

Crunchyroll, which offers licensed anime content to over 200 countries and regions, plays a pivotal role in global anime distribution. With this move, Strawberry Prince’s global reach is expected to grow even further, tapping into a passionate international fanbase through both digital streaming and promotional events.
