The hit anime Haikyu!! has joined forces with the sports drink brand AQUARIUS for a brand-new collaboration TV commercial titled “You Look Your Best When You're Full of Energy”, featuring fresh animation produced by Production I.G. The commercial has officially begun airing on television across Japan.

Hinata and Teammates Train Hard and Hydrate with AQUARIUS

In the new animated spot, protagonist Shoyo Hinata, a first-year player on Karasuno High School’s volleyball team, trains intensely alongside teammates Tobio Kageyama, Kei Tsukishima, and Tadashi Yamaguchi. As they pour sweat through grueling practice sessions, the team pauses during breaks to rehydrate with AQUARIUS. The commercial captures their burning dedication to each play and the pure joy Hinata expresses after landing a spike—resulting in a passionate yet refreshing piece of animation.

Outdoor Ads and Event Booths Expand the Campaign

Beyond the TV spot, the Haikyu!! × AQUARIUS campaign is spreading nationwide through outdoor and transit advertising. From April 21 to 27, large-scale ads will be displayed at MIYASHITA PARK in Shibuya, Tokyo. Other ad placements are already rolling out across the country.

Adding to the excitement, AQUARIUS will host an official booth at the Haikyu!! FAN PARK event, scheduled for June 7 and 8 at Makuhari Messe.

About Haikyu!! and Its Widespread Appeal

Haikyu!! is based on the manga of the same name, originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) from February 2012 to July 2020. The story follows high school volleyball prodigy Shoyo Hinata as he strives to become like the legendary “Little Giant” and builds an unlikely yet powerful bond with genius setter Tobio Kageyama. Set in Miyagi Prefecture, the series explores the passion, growth, and camaraderie of Karasuno High School's volleyball team.
