On April 3rd, pre-orders began for a set of collaboration playing cards featuring illustrations from the TV anime BANANA FISH, now available through AMNIBUS. These playing cards are a special edition produced in collaboration with BICYCLE, a renowned playing card brand.

Based on the manga by Akimi Yoshida, BANANA FISH was adapted into a TV anime in 2018. Set in the gritty underworld of 1980s downtown New York, the story follows Ash, a strikingly beautiful and skilled young gang leader, and Eiji, a gentle Japanese boy assisting a photojournalist. Together, they unravel the mystery behind the enigmatic phrase “Banana Fish” in a gripping, emotional action drama.

Elegant Design That Captures the Anime’s Spirit

The back of the cards features a poignant illustration of Ash and Eiji in a rye field—an image reminiscent of the anime’s ending. The front sides are adorned with artwork and motifs of key characters from the series, including customized designs for each suit and the Joker cards.
