To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Zoids and the 20th anniversary of the Monster Hunter series, Takara Tomy has announced the second wave of the Zoids x Monster Hunter collaboration.

In this installment, Mizutsune and Rajang make their debut as mechanized Zoids equipped with new weapons to battle monsters that have mysteriously entered Earth through a multiverse portal.

Pre-orders start today, March 6, with an official release scheduled for October 2025.

New Monster-Inspired Zoids

Each Zoid is designed to mimic its respective monster, featuring markings and specialized equipment:

🔫 Gatling Fox Mizune (Mizutsune-Inspired Zoid)
A fox-type Zoid equipped with a large gatling gun on its back, inspired by Mizutsune.

Features a new head armor with 3D sensors for enhanced perception.
Compact Electric Cannons mounted on the shoulders and back allow for multi-directional attacks.
Its long tail doubles as a melee slashing weapon, replicating Mizutsune’s fluid combat style.

🦍 Knuckle Kong Seiten (Rajang-Inspired Zoid)
A gorilla-type Zoid designed to recreate Rajang’s power and transformation.

The newly designed head armor includes horns with a condenser function.
A blade mounted on its back allows it to absorb Rajang’s electrical energy.
When in rage mode, it enters an excited state, exposing golden internal parts, expanding its weapons, and delivering devastating punches infused with Rajang’s electric energy.
