About Medalist

Medalist follows the journey of Inori Yuitsuka, a young girl with a deep longing for the world of figure skating, and Tsukasa Amahara, a former skater who once gave up on his dream. Inspired by Inori’s fierce determination, Tsukasa becomes her coach, guiding her as she blossoms into a skating talent while he finds new purpose as a mentor.

Based on the award-winning manga by Tsurumaikada, the series has been recognized with the Next Manga Award 2022 (1st place in the comics category) and the prestigious 48th Kodansha Manga Award in the general category. The anime adaptation premiered in January and has garnered acclaim for its emotional storytelling and graceful depiction of skating.

As the season finale airs, fans are eagerly wondering: Will there be a Season 2? While no official announcement has been made yet, the emotional build-up and open-ended developments suggest that Inori’s skating journey may be far from over.
