The remake breathes new life into the beloved RPG classics with a stunning HD-2D art style, blending pixel-based characters with richly detailed 3D environments—similar to the visual style seen in titles like Octopath Traveler and Live A Live.

In addition to updated visuals and modernized gameplay systems, the newly released footage revealed a mysterious new character, sparking speculation among fans about potential changes or expansions to the original storyline.

The HD-2D remake of Dragon Quest III was previously announced and is still eagerly anticipated. With Dragon Quest I & II now officially joining the remake lineup, excitement is building among longtime fans of the legendary series.
