The second cour of the final season of the TV anime Dr. STONE, titled Dr. STONE: SCIENCE FUTURE, is officially set to air in July. Alongside the announcement, a commemorative illustration has been revealed.

The newly released visual is an original illustration by character designer Yuko Iwasa, depicting Senku Ishigami and Dr. Xeno. In the upcoming episodes, the Kingdom of Science, with Xeno taken as a hostage, splits into two groups and sets out for South America. The battle between the Kingdom of Science and Stanley's forces promises to heat up further in this thrilling second cour.

Based on the manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha), Dr. STONE (story by Riichiro Inagaki, art by Boichi) has surpassed 18 million copies in circulation. The story follows science prodigy Senku as he awakens in a world thousands of years after humanity was petrified, embarking on an epic journey to rebuild civilization from scratch through the power of science. Since its first season aired in 2019, the anime has continued with sequels and specials, and this final season will bring the saga to its long-awaited conclusion.
