The hit anime ‘Demon Slayer’ has announced an official collaboration with Major League Baseball (MLB) to commemorate the MLB Tokyo Series presented by Guggenheim. A special animation produced by ufotable has been released, and limited-edition collaboration merchandise will be available for pre-order.

Special Animation Featuring Japan’s MLB Stars

The collaboration video highlights the theme of "inheritance of will," a core concept in Demon Slayer, through the lens of Japan’s baseball history.

The MLB Tokyo Series will feature five Japanese players, including:

⚾ Yoshinobu Yamamoto (Los Angeles Dodgers)
⚾ Roki Sasaki (Los Angeles Dodgers)

The special animation will also be used as part of the pre-game entertainment at the Tokyo Dome for the MLB Tokyo Series.

About Demon Slayer

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the manga of the same name, which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020. With over 150 million copies in circulation, the series has become a major hit.
