The latest installment in the Gundam franchise, "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX", has announced new updates for its theatrical prequel edition, "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-", which debuted on January 17, 2025.

Starting March 1, a newly illustrated character card by animation character designer and chief animation director Fumie Kobori will be distributed as the sixth round of theatergoer bonuses. The special illustration features Machu, Nyaan, and Shuji.

Story & Production Details

The series follows Amate Yuzuriha, a high school girl living peacefully in a space colony. Her encounter with Nyaan, a young war refugee, draws her into the underground mobile suit dueling competition, "Clan Battle."

Under the entry name "Machu", Amate pilots the GQuuuuuuX and engages in fierce battles. As she fights, she encounters a mysterious Gundam pursued by both the space military and police, along with its enigmatic pilot, Shuji. Their meeting signals the dawn of a new era in the universe.
