The TV anime Shangri-La Frontier 2nd Season, currently airing every Sunday at 5 PM on the MBS/TBS network across 28 stations nationwide, has unveiled a new key visual marking the beginning of the “GGC (Global Game Competition) Arc.” Alongside this, details about new characters, voiced by Yumi Uchiyama and Minami Takahashi, have also been revealed.

New Visual Highlights the “GGC Arc” and Key Characters

Unlike previous visuals featuring in-game avatars, this newly released illustration showcases Rakuro Hizutome (Sunraku), Towa Amane (Arthur Pencilgon), and Kei Uomi (Oikattsuo) in their real-world appearances. Among them, Kei Uomi is prominently featured, hinting at his central role in this arc.

Additionally, the visual introduces two new characters who will play a role in the real-world storyline: Megumi Natsume, voiced by Yumi Uchiyama, and Silvia Goldberg, voiced by Minami Takahashi.

Introducing the New Characters

Megumi Natsume (CV: Yumi Uchiyama)
A professional fighting game player and a member of the same team as Kei Uomi, the “Nitro Squad.” Her player name is “Nu2meg” (Nutmeg). As a starting member of Japan’s top-tier team, she is recognized as one of the country’s strongest players.

Silvia Goldberg (CV: Minami Takahashi)
The sole female player in the U.S.'s top fighting game team, “StarRain.” Five years ago, she made a shocking debut by winning an amateur fighting game tournament with perfect victories in every match, taking zero damage. Even in the subsequent exhibition match, she dominated professional players with overwhelming strength. Now, five years later, she remains the strongest player in the U.S., continuously setting new records as a shining star in the pro gaming scene.
