The highly anticipated TV anime Alien MuMu is set to premiere on April 9, 2025, on TOKYO MX, BS11, and MBS. Ahead of its release, the second key visual and a new promotional video (PV) have been unveiled. Additionally, the cast welcomes two new members: Karin Takahashi and Katsuyuki Konishi.

A Unique "Super Spectacle x Home Appliance-Filled x Cat Comedy" Anime

Alien MuMu is an anime centered around an exciting mix of household appliances, aliens, and comedic feline antics. The newly released key visual features the ten main characters set against the backdrop of Machida Station in Machida City, the story’s setting. Meanwhile, the second PV showcases the lively and colorful world of MuMu, highlighting the series’ unique charm.

New Characters & Cast Announcements

Two new characters make their debut in this announcement: "Siberia," a companion of MuMu and Decimal, and "Junichiro Anamori," Siberia's partner.

Siberia: VA Karin Takahashi
This is Karin Takahashi, the voice of Siberia. After I was cast, I read the original work and became completely captivated by the cuteness of the cats and the fun of the household appliances!

Siberia is always grumpy, but he's a cute character you can't help but love. I hope you all will come to love him too.

Hello everyone. I’m Katsuyuki Konishi, and I’ll be playing the role of Junichiro Anamori in “Me and the Alien MuMu”.I’ve always been a fan of Miyashita-sensei’s manga and have read it quite often, so I’m delighted to be part of this!

Opening Theme by Sabasister

We had the pleasure of writing and composing the opening theme song for “Me and the Alien MuMu”.I especially love the chorus of "Fushigi na Kimi" and it’s a fun and exciting song that captures MuMu’s cuteness and a bit of his mysterious side in the lyrics.

Introduction

A cat-like alien from a distant galaxy, MuMu, arrives on Earth. His goal is to learn about home appliance technology on Earth to recover the technology his species has lost. The protagonist, Sakurako, has a typical university life, but everything changes with MuMu’s arrival! What begins as an unexpected cohabitation quickly turns into a whirlwind of chaotic events. The chemistry between Sakurako and MuMu leads to a super-spectacular, appliance-filled, and cat comedy adventure.
