The main visual and the official trailer for the Japanese-dubbed version of the Chinese animated feature film Yozen have been released. The film stars Masaya Sano (Aぇ! group) and Toshiki Masuda, who voice the dual protagonists. The trailer also features the theme song "ROCK’NPOP" by Aぇ! group.

A New Interpretation of Investiture of the Gods

Directed by Zhao Ji, Yozen is produced by Light Chaser Animation, the studio behind White Snake and New Gods: Nezha Reborn. The film reimagines the classic Chinese novel Investiture of the Gods with a fresh perspective.

Originally released in China in August 2022, the film garnered widespread attention for its stunning visuals and dynamic action sequences, surpassing 10 billion yen in domestic box office revenue.

A Story of Fate and Adventure

In an ancient era, the world was divided into the Immortal Realm and the Human Realm. After a devastating war, the power of the Immortal Realm waned, and Yozen (voiced by Masaya Sano), like many other immortals, lost his former glory and now survives as a bounty hunter in the Human Realm.

One day, Yozen encounters Jinko (voiced by Toshiki Masuda), his long-lost nephew. Jinko is on a quest to find the "Lotus Lantern", a mystical artifact said to double one’s power, in hopes of rescuing his mother, who is trapped in Mount Hua. Their fates intertwine as they embark on an adventure that will change their destinies forever.

The main visual is designed in a style reminiscent of ancient murals, capturing the grandeur and mystery of the story. It brings together all the key characters, showcasing the interwoven fates that drive the narrative forward.

Additionally, starting February 28, the second wave of advance ticket sales (MoviTike) will begin in theaters, with exclusive character card sets available as purchase bonuses.
