At the Next on Netflix 2025 showcase held in Tokyo, it was officially announced that Season 3 of Alice in Borderland will premiere worldwide in September 2025. This marks the first time a Japanese live-action series has reached a third season on Netflix.

About Alice in Borderland

Based on the hit manga by Haro Aso, serialized from 2010 to 2016 in Weekly Shonen Sunday S and Weekly Shonen Sunday (Shogakukan), Alice in Borderland has captivated fans worldwide. A new sequel manga, Alice in Borderland: Retry, was released in 2020-2021.

The live-action series follows Arisu (Kento Yamazaki) and Usagi (Tao Tsuchiya) as they navigate life-and-death “games” in hopes of returning to their original world. Combining intellectual challenges, intense action, and deepening bonds among characters, the series has thrilled audiences globally.
