The Booming Popularity of Voice Acting as a Career

In 2022, a press conference on the Invoice System Reform estimated that Japan has over 10,000 active voice actors. The editors of Seiyuu Grand Prix highlighted that voice acting is now one of the most desired professions, with increasing exposure in TV shows and commercials.

The magazine serves as a valuable industry database, recognized not only by fans but also by professionals, including casting directors and production companies. As the field of voice acting continues to expand, the number of registered voice actors is expected to keep growing.
