In celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Tokaido Shinkansen and the 30th anniversary of Seiyuu Grand Prix magazine, a special Seiyuu Shinkansen train event will be held. Five female voice actresses—Erika Ishitobi, Miyu Kubota, Chiemi Tanaka, Yuki Nakashima, and Nako Misaki—will don train attendant uniforms, riding throughout the train and greeting passengers in each car.

The Seiyuu Shinkansen will feature exclusive in-car broadcasts with newly recorded messages from approximately ten popular voice actors, including a live "in-train radio show" by Miyu Kubota and other guests. Unique souvenirs such as a commemorative boarding pass and exclusive merchandise will also be provided. Passengers riding in the Green Car will have the chance to receive these items directly from the voice actresses.
