The original manga, created by Muneyuki Kaneshiro with illustrations by Yusuke Nomura and serialized in Kodansha's "Weekly Shonen Magazine," has surpassed a total of 30 million copies in circulation. The manga was adapted into a TV anime in 2022, gaining immense popularity. The series is known for its death game-like theme where 300 high school forward players gathered in "Blue Lock" compete to become the world's best striker, risking their soccer careers and goals. Dubbed "the hottest and most insane soccer anime ever," it has captured the attention of a wide range of ages and has been expanded into mobile games, stage adaptations, and more.
