JoJo Creator’s New Year Card Draws Rave Reviews Online
The official X (formerly Twitter) account for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure has shared an illustration of a New Year card by the manga’s creator, Hirohiko Araki. The post has garnered an overwhelming response, amassing over 170,000 likes.
The card reads:
“Happy New Year, Reiwa 7. Thank you for your support over the past year. I sincerely wish you health and happiness. I look forward to your continued support this year.”
The illustration features a snake, in line with the year’s zodiac, depicted in a way reminiscent of a Stand. Fans online have praised the illustration, saying, “Pure genius! What an amazing card,” “As always, his sense of style is impeccable!” “Great!” and “It’s elegant, classy, and so cool.”
Hirohiko Araki’s beloved manga JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure began serialization in 1987 in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha).
