Jujutsu Kaisen’ Characters Appear in Morning Editions of Three Major Newspapers with Special Illustrations by Gege Akutami
To celebrate the simultaneous release of volumes 29 and the final volume 30 of the popular manga Jujutsu Kaisen on December 25, specially illustrated ads by the manga’s creator, Gege Akutami, appeared in the morning editions of three major Japanese newspapers on December 24. The ads featured Gojo Satoru in the Yomiuri Shimbun, Nanami Kento in the Asahi Shimbun, and Choso in the Mainichi Shimbun.

Currently, advertisements featuring popular characters are also displayed in the Shibuya Station area to commemorate the double release of the volumes. Additionally, some bookstores are distributing exclusive illustrated cards (four types) by Akutami.

Of the four special illustrations, three were used in the newspaper ads published on December 24. The remaining one, a secret illustration, is scheduled to appear in the morning edition of another national newspaper on December 25.

The special illustrations include Gojo Satoru, Nanami Kento, Choso, and one secret design. The fourth illustration will be featured on December 25 in a national newspaper, with details on the ad and visuals to be revealed in the day’s issue.

Volume 30, the series’ final installment, will include 16 pages of newly drawn epilogue manga featuring Yuko Ozawa, Panda, Nobara Kugisaki, and Uraume.
