Episode 9 of the new 'Dragon Ball' series, 'Dragon Ball DAIMA,' aired on the 7th on the Fuji TV network, introducing a brand new character, Majin Kuu, created by Doctor Arinsu and Great Witch Marva. Tomokazu Seki takes on the role of Majin Kuu.

After winning the battle against Tamagami Number Three in Episode 8, Goku and his friends managed to obtain the Dragon Ball of the Third Demon World. However, by Episode 9, rumors of their victory spread throughout the Demon World, making Goku and his companions even more of a target. Meanwhile, Bulma, Vegeta, and Piccolo, who had remained on Earth, also arrived in the Grand Demon World under the guidance of Hybis. Around the same time, in the First Demon World, Majin Kuu was brought to life through the research of Doctor Arinsu and Great Witch Marva.

Majin Kuu made his debut in the final moments of Episode 9, uttering just one line, "Understood." It was then announced that Tomokazu Seki would be voicing the character, with a comment from Seki himself being revealed.

About Dragon Ball DAIMA

This new anime series is an entirely original story by Akira Toriyama. He was deeply involved in its production, working on the story, character design, and more. The plot involves Goku and his friends, who have been shrunk due to a certain conspiracy, setting out to resolve this situation by exploring a mysterious and unknown world.　Toriyama has also illustrated numerous designs for vehicles, monsters, and mob characters.

"DRAGON BALL" began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1984 and ran for about ten and a half years, becoming one of Japan's most iconic manga. With a cumulative total of over 260 million copies sold worldwide, the series has continued to attract fans through television anime, films, and games even after the manga ended.

In 2013, the movie series returned for the first time in 17 years, achieving massive success. Following this, in 2015, the series "Dragon Ball Super," based on an original concept by Toriyama, began. In 2022, the movie "Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero" was released.
