The story and scene previews for Episode 11 of the anime Orb: On the Movements of the Earth (EP11 title: "Blood") have been released. Episode 11 is scheduled to broadcast on NHK General TV on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 11:45 PM. Following each broadcast, the episode will be available for worldwide streaming on Netflix and for free on ABEMA.

The preview stills released show Antoni, the bishop's son, who appears in Episode 11. He harbors doubts about the current policies of the church and views Nowak, who is hired as an inquisitor, as an enemy. He is voiced by Satoshi Mikami.

Nowak is tasked with supervising the training of new inquisitors. The new inquisitors are shocked by his emotionless manner of torturing a female heretic. Among them, Simon questions if this approach is truly right. Meanwhile, Badeni reports to Jolenta that the heliocentric theory is finally complete, and celebrates with Oczy. While they are talking about their future dreams in the tavern, a man who shouldn't be there appears.

Orb: On the Movements of the Earth is based on the manga of the same name by Uoto, serialized in Big Spirits Comics (published by Shogakukan). It is a highly acclaimed work, having won the Grand Prize at the 26th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Awards.

Set in 15th-century Europe, during a time when heretical ideas were punished by burning at the stake, the story follows those who risk their beliefs and lives to prove the heliocentric theory, which challenged the dominant geocentric worldview.

The prodigy Rafał is expected to major in theology, but one day, a mysterious man researching a "heretical truth" appears before him.
