The protagonist of the popular manga 'The Case Files of Young Kindaichi,' Hajime Kindaichi, has married his childhood friend and heroine, Miyuki Nanase, and it's been revealed that he's now a father. This news comes from the latest Chapter 132 of the ongoing series 'Kindaichi Case Files: The 37-Year-Old,' published on 'Comic DAYS' by Kodansha. In response, numerous manga artists have taken to social media to offer their congratulations.

'The Case Files of Young Kindaichi' began serialization as a mystery manga in 1992 in 'Weekly Shōnen Magazine.' The story revolves around Hajime Kindaichi, a high school student who is the grandson of the famous detective Kosuke Kindaichi. Together with his childhood friend Miyuki Nanase and Inspector Isamu Kenmochi, Hajime solves numerous complex cases using his outstanding deductive abilities. The series was first adapted into a live-action drama in 1995 and into a TV anime in 1997.

The 'Kindaichi Case Files: The 37-Year-Old' follows Hajime Kindaichi at age 37, now living the mundane life of a salaryman working at a small PR company. Despite his regular life, Hajime still finds himself getting involved in various incidents, which he continues to solve, "in the name of my grandfather."

Among the highlights of this series is the development of Hajime's relationship with Miyuki, which had been left unresolved in 'The Case Files of Young Kindaichi.' In the latest chapter of 'Kindaichi Case Files: The 37-Year-Old,' it was suddenly revealed that Hajime and Miyuki are married, and Miyuki is pregnant. Additionally, it was announced that a new manga series titled 'Kindaichi Papa Case Files' would begin in January 2025 as a digital release.
