Japan Airlines (JAL) and Universal Studios Japan (USJ) will launch a special livery plane, the “Donkey Kong Country Opening Commemorative JAL × Universal Studios Japan Jet 2,” on January 14, 2025, marking the December 11, 2024 opening of Donkey Kong Country in USJ’s Super Nintendo World™. This Embraer 190 features vibrant artwork with Donkey Kong, Mario, the Minions, Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Woody Woodpecker, inviting passengers to travel Japan with excitement and joy.

To celebrate, JAL will broadcast special seasonal JAL × USJ videos on domestic flights equipped with Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 767-300ER aircraft from December 1, 2024, to November 30, 2025. The videos will feature “NO LIMIT!” seasonal themes, showcasing the lively world of USJ.
