The 31th episode of the new TV anime Rurouni Kenshin, titled "Arrival in Kyoto," will air on November 14 as part of Fuji TV's late-night anime programming block "Noitamina" and other channels.

Kenshin and Misao arrive in Kyoto and are greeted outside the inn "Aoi-ya" by Kashiwazaki Nenji, also known as "Okina," who raised Misao. Okina quickly recognizes Kenshin as the legendary Battousai, leaving Kenshin astonished. Okina is revealed to be a former member of the Oniwabanshu, the secret intelligence group. When Okina offers to help, Kenshin asks him to locate someone. Meanwhile, Kaoru and Yahiko, who have also arrived in Kyoto, catch sight of Aoshi amidst the streets of Kyoto.
