At the 'STEINS;GATE 15th LIVE - ONE WORLD -' event, held at Mori no Hall 21 on October 27, 2024, to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the release of 'Steins;Gate,' a new title, 'STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT,' was announced.

While only a teaser video was shown at the event, with further details remaining unknown, MAGES. revealed that the new work is based on the original 'Steins;Gate' and features completely updated graphics, along with some additional story content.

Character design for the remake will again be handled by huke, as in the original version. The release is planned for 2025, though the supported platforms have not yet been disclosed.

Originally released by MAGES. on Xbox 360 on October 15, 2009, 'Steins;Gate' is the second installment in the Science Adventure series. The story, which brilliantly ties up all its intricate foreshadowing, along with its diverse cast of characters, generated significant buzz. The franchise has since seen adaptations to other platforms, a TV anime, a theatrical film, spin-off works, and more.
