The synopsis and preview images for the episode 5 of the TV anime Blue Box (airing on TBS from October 3) have been revealed.

Episode 5, titled "Aquarium," follows After a thrilling victory over Kishi, Taiki finds himself on a special outing to the aquarium with Chinatsu, thanks to Kyo’s arrangement. As they explore the lively exhibits, Taiki can’t help but dream of coming back as an official couple. But just as their enjoyable day comes to an end, Chinatsu suddenly tells him there’s something she needs to discuss. What will she reveal, and how will it affect Taiki’s hopes?

Since its debut, Blue Box has received significant attention from readers, winning the "Global Special Prize" at the Next Manga Awards 2021 and placing 4th in the "Recommended Comics by National Bookstore Staff 2022." The manga has surpassed 5 million copies in circulation, and it collaborated with Asahi Soft Drinks' "Calpis" in a special campaign in November 2022, making it a notable work to watch.

Blue Box is a coming-of-age love story centered around high school sports, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since April 2021. The story follows Taiki Inomata, a member of the boys' badminton team, who falls for Chinatsu Kano, a senior on the girls' basketball team. They meet every morning for practice in the gymnasium. One spring, an unexpected event changes the distance between them... The story delicately portrays the earnest efforts of the characters in their respective sports clubs, as well as the subtle emotional shifts when one falls in love.
