The synopsis and preview images for the episode 4 of the TV anime Blue Box (airing on TBS from October 3) have been revealed.

Episode 4, titled "If He Wins," follows A month has passed since Chinatsu moved into the Inomata household, and the district qualifiers for the high school badminton championship are about to begin. Daiki, feeling nervous before his very first high school match, is encouraged by Chinatsu’s words. However, this also makes him keenly aware of the difference in their school years. On the first day of the qualifiers, Daiki is progressing smoothly in the doubles matches, when a guy aiming to get Chinatsu’s contact information suddenly appears before him.

Since its debut, Blue Box has received significant attention from readers, winning the "Global Special Prize" at the Next Manga Awards 2021 and placing 4th in the "Recommended Comics by National Bookstore Staff 2022." The manga has surpassed 5 million copies in circulation, and it collaborated with Asahi Soft Drinks' "Calpis" in a special campaign in November 2022, making it a notable work to watch.

Blue Box is a coming-of-age love story centered around high school sports, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since April 2021. The story follows Taiki Inomata, a member of the boys' badminton team, who falls for Chinatsu Kano, a senior on the girls' basketball team. They meet every morning for practice in the gymnasium. One spring, an unexpected event changes the distance between them... The story delicately portrays the earnest efforts of the characters in their respective sports clubs, as well as the subtle emotional shifts when one falls in love.
