Episode 39 of Wonderful Precure!, the 21st installment in the Precure anime series, titled “Nico Evolution!” celebrates Halloween with all characters dressed up.

Episode Synopsis

As the Animal Town fills with festive costumes, Komugi (voiced by Maria Naganawa) and Iroha (voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki) join in by handing out treats at home. Komugi spots someone dressed as a wolf and eagerly approaches them to share her excitement about her own wolf costume. However, the “Wolf” replies with few words and walks away quickly. Exhausted from following them, Komugi reverts to her dog form, and the Wolf leads her to a riverside to rest.

Wonderful Precure! is themed around "animals" with a focus on "bonds with animals." The keyword is "Everyone, let’s be friends! Wonderful~!" Set in Animal Town, where humans and animals live in harmony, the story depicts the cross-species connections between them.

Iroha, who loves animals, shares a close bond with her pet dog, Komugi. One day, they encounter a mysterious creature, Garugaru, causing chaos in the town. To protect Iroha, Komugi transforms into a human and becomes a Precure. Together, they work to help those with troubled hearts and return the animals to the Niko Garden.
