The brand-new novel "DokiDoki! PreCure," which continues the story from the final episode of the TV anime DokiDoki! PreCure, was released on the 17th. Due to high demand, it has already been confirmed for a reprint, as announced by the editorial team at Kodansha's Tanoshii Youchien magazine.

The novel has attracted attention as it introduces new Precure characters. Doki Doki! Precure originally aired as the 10th installment of the Precure series from 2013 to 2014. The novel presents a completely original story that continues after the final episode of the TV series.

The author of the novel is Ryota Yamaguchi, who was in charge of the series composition for the anime. The cover illustration is an exclusive design by Akira Takahashi, the character designer for Doki Doki! Precure. When the novel’s release was first announced in January 2024, the news quickly went viral online with fans excitedly saying, "We get to meet those six characters again!"
