Kisuke Foods Co., Ltd., which processes and sells beef tongue, has announced a collaboration with the character Kisuke Urahara from the manga BLEACH. The collaboration products, including set meals and bento boxes, will be available starting October 5, 2024.

Ajino Gyutan Kisuke, which will soon celebrate its 50th anniversary, was the first to promote "Sendai-style grilled beef tongue" as a local specialty and expand it nationwide. When the restaurant opened in Tokyo’s Yaesu district in 2004, it coincided with the airing of the BLEACH anime. After the appearance of the popular character Kisuke Urahara, BLEACH fans began visiting the restaurant, calling it the "holy ground of Kisuke." With the release of BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War in 2022, fan interest grew, leading to this collaboration with the support of the official fan club Klub Outside. The collaboration features new illustrations of Kisuke Urahara drawn by BLEACH creator Tite Kubo.

In the illustration, Kisuke Urahara is seen wearing the official uniform that only selected master craftsmen of Ajino Gyutan Kisuke are allowed to wear. This collaboration aims to further spread the appeal of Sendai beef tongue nationwide.
